TIG welder wanted in Tallapoosa County

Now hiring: we are hiring a TIG welder in Tallapoosa County, Alabama. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Day to day you will keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts.
