Aluminium tig welder — Okfuskee County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Okfuskee County, Oklahoma. The job is at a stainless steel fabrication shop. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through The role involves read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; carry out 6G pipe welds where required.
