Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Coosa County, Alabama. You will work in an open-cast quarry. What we are looking for: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Sound understanding of daily maintenance and greasing • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control Day-to-day duties: • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
