Immediate opening: fabricator-welder (California)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Tuolumne County, California. Your main tasks: • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle You should have: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Full-time, day shift.
