Steel fixer wanted in Adams County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a steel fixer in Adams County, Indiana. You will work on a busy residential building site. Day to day you will set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover. You should have: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
