Ideal candidate: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Day-to-day duties: • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience.
