Urgent requirement: we are hiring a natural gas fitter in Polk County, Minnesota. The role involves complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge. What we are looking for: • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $30 per hour, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
