Day to day you will read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm. Requirements: • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
