Vacancy available: we are hiring a fettler in Cheyenne County, Colorado. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. Requirements: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Day-to-day duties: • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
