Fabricator-welder wanted in Nash County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Nash County, North Carolina. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. Day-to-day duties: • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Own basic hand tools and PPE At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
