Pipe tig welder wanted in Barnstable County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Barnstable County, Massachusetts. What we are looking for: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Own basic hand tools and PPE Day-to-day duties: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
