Join our team: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Iberia Parish, Louisiana. You will work in customers' homes and kitchens. Requirements: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion The role involves thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints; fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances.
