Immediate opening: TIG welder (Massachusetts)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a TIG welder in Dukes County, Massachusetts. You will work at a pipe-fitting and pressure-vessel shop. Your main tasks: • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding Full-time, day shift.
