Great opportunity: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Lincoln County, Oregon. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. Requirements: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to pass a weld test on the spot The role involves set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
