Pipe tig welder — Santa Cruz County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Santa Cruz County, Arizona. You will be based on an industrial construction site. You will weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator. Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Part-time with flexible hours.
