Vacancy available: we are hiring a PVC window fabricator in Kern County, California. You will work on site fitting windows in new-build flats. What we are looking for: • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings On a typical shift you will fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents; cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees; insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it.
