Gas installation technician • Walla Walla County, Washington

Now hiring: we are hiring a gas installation technician in Walla Walla County, Washington. You will be based in a gas distribution network. Your main tasks: • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate Ideal candidate: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
