Join our team: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State. You should have: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through The role involves weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; carry out 6G pipe welds where required.
