Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Custer County, Idaho. You will be based in a pharmaceutical piping facility. Ideal candidate: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection The role involves clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
