Great opportunity: horizontal milling machine operator (Connecticut)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Capitol Planning Region, Connecticut. You will be based at a fabrication and machining plant. The role involves: • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm • Apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls Rotating shifts.
