Bar bender and fixer wanted in Redcar and Cleveland

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Redcar and Cleveland, England. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Requirements: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Day-to-day duties: • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings 2+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
