Vacancy available: we are hiring a beldar in Luna County, New Mexico. You will be based on a building construction site. You should have: • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain On the job you will handle: • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction • Pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
