Join our team: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Nantucket County, Massachusetts. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs Requirements: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Willing to work shifts and overtime Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
