Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete placer in City of Martinsville, Virginia. Your main tasks: • Float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout You should have: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
