Brick mason — Andrews County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a brick mason in Andrews County, Texas. You will be based on a busy housing site. Ideal candidate: • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding Your main tasks: • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Building cavity walls and bedding in wall ties and insulation • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
