The role involves: • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules What we are looking for: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) Overtime paid at a premium rate.
