Immediate opening: we are hiring a powder coating operator in Terrell County, Georgia. Requirements: • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens • Can read film thickness gauges and colour codes • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects Your main tasks: • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks • Mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Run colour changeovers and clean the booth between batches • Record batch numbers, oven temperatures and coating thickness 3+ years on the tools preferred.
