Immediate opening: wood machinist (Kentucky)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a wood machinist in Muhlenberg County, Kentucky. You will work in a cabinet-making workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Fix studwork and plasterboard partitions • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring Ideal candidate: • Confident with hand and power tools such as saws, routers and planers • Good eye for detail and a clean finish Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
