Now hiring: we are hiring a site carpenter in Pleasants County, West Virginia. You will work at a shopfitting company. On the job you will handle: • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Read and work from architectural drawings and cutting lists You should have: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists • Physically fit to lift, kneel and work at height Full-time, day shift.
