Sample machinist • Warren County, New York

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sample machinist in Warren County, New York. The job is at a knitwear stitching unit. Your main tasks: • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift You should have: • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
