Retail butcher — Rains County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a retail butcher in Rains County, Texas. You will be based at a halal meat counter. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required On the job you will handle: • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Season and marinate meat on request Full-time with occasional weekends.
