We are recruiting: we are hiring a sample machinist in Fort Bend County, Texas. You will inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges. Ideal candidate: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
