Fettler wanted in Sacramento County

Now hiring: we are hiring a fettler in Sacramento County, California. You will be based in the melting bay of a steel foundry. On the job you will handle: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle You should have: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Basic grinding and fettling skills 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Walk-in interviews this week.
