Now hiring: we are hiring a halal butcher in Camden County, North Carolina. You will be based in a supermarket meat department. The role involves trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts. Ideal candidate: • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits.
