Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Clearwater County, Idaho. Day to day you will fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points. Requirements: • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Full-time with occasional weekends.
