Moulder • Ikot Abasi, Akwa Ibom State

Immediate opening: we are hiring a moulder in Ikot Abasi, Akwa Ibom State. You will be based in the melting bay of a steel foundry. On the job you will handle: • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle You should have: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Pay around ₦70,000 per month, based on your experience.
