Cnc production machinist — Baraga County

Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Baraga County, Michigan. You will be based on the CNC turning shop floor. You will load and index turning tools in the turret; run first-off inspection and sign off the part; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers. Ideal candidate: • Experience with carbide tooling and insert selection • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls Six days a week, one day off.
