Join our team: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Shelby County, Kentucky. On a typical shift you will weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode. You should have: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off.
