Now hiring: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Augusta County, Virginia. You will be based at a heating and plumbing contractor. You should have: • Driving licence for travel between sites • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches The role involves braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate; read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes.
