Vacancy available: aluminium tig welder (Kansas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Mitchell County, Kansas. The job is in a food and dairy equipment factory. Day-to-day duties: • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges You should have: • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height Pay around $2,500 per month, based on your experience.
