Now hiring: we are hiring a vehicle technician in Union Parish, Louisiana. The job is at a tyre and exhaust shop. Ideal candidate: • ITI / NVQ Level 3 qualification in motor vehicle maintenance • Own set of hand tools The role involves road-test vehicles to confirm the repair; check and top up coolant, brake fluid and power-steering fluid; replace alternators, starter motors and batteries; replace brake pads, discs and callipers; carry out suspension and steering repairs. Rotating shifts. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
