GMAW welder — Calabar Municipal

Immediate opening: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Calabar Municipal, Cross River State. The job is at an automobile body shop. On a typical shift you will check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator. Requirements: • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Part-time with flexible hours.
