Vacancy available: we are hiring a nursery worker in Southeast Fairbanks Census Area, Alaska. You will work at a landscaping company. On the job you will handle: • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers • Spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease • Maintain compost heaps and the potting shed • Operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • An eye for detail and a tidy, well-kept finish Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
