Join our team: we are hiring a refrigeration and AC technician in Knox County, Maine. You will work at an air conditioning service centre. You should have: • Comfortable working at height on ladders and scaffolds • Physically fit to lift outdoor units and work in tight spaces Day-to-day duties: • Fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter • Cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines • Clean filters, blower wheels and condenser coils during servicing • Charge and top up refrigerant (R32, R410A) off the manifold gauges • Braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks • Evacuate the system with a vacuum pump and confirm a deep vacuum Six days a week, one day off.
