Immediate opening: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Langlade County, Wisconsin. What we are looking for: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules On the job you will handle: • Fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
