Banksman wanted in Darke County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a banksman in Darke County, Ohio. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. What we are looking for: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather Day to day you will secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings; set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks.
