Bar bender and fixer • Cass County, Indiana

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Cass County, Indiana. You will work on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Requirements: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling You will lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust.
