Aluminium tig welder — Johnson County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Johnson County, Wyoming. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. You should have: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height You will weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode.
