Single needle operator wanted in North East Lincolnshire

Now hiring: we are hiring a single needle operator in North East Lincolnshire, England. The job is on a ready-made garment production line. You should have: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens On the job you will handle: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around £2,100 per month, based on your experience. Share your details and we will call you back.
