We are recruiting: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Hitchcock County, Nebraska. You will work at a high-rise construction project. You will set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder. You should have: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Part-time with flexible hours.
